TECHNIQUES

    • A variety of camera shots were taken (e.g. Close-ups, Long Shots, Overshots, Undershots, Medium Shots) with my iPhone 5 to gather my photos from an open field at Cronulla Beach/ Bate Bay

    • Researched what photos I would take in order to obtain my information and data what coastal management strategies are in place and to assess the effectiveness of them.

    • Researched different groups and organisations who are helping the Sutherland Shire Council in introducing and assessing coastal management strategies

    • Took note of various human and natural environmental impacts that contributed to sand/dune erosion at Cronulla Beach.

    • Researched what other researchers had done regarding the sane/dune erosion at Cronulla Beach by looking at various secondry sources such as the internet and newspaper articles

    • Once I had done my field trip to Cronullla Beach, I sent an inquiry email to the Sutherland Shire council to get a reliable source and to gather more secondary sources/information.

    • Whilst gathering information of the open field at Cronulla Beach, I took note of the surrounding environment and conducted it into my field sketches and research.

    • Whilst researching, I found a newspaper article from http://www.theleader.com.au/ regarding an article about the the Cronulla beach management strategies being re-evaluated

    • Gathered maps of Cronulla/ Bate Bay from past to present to analyse the current management plan and to compare the effectiveness of the management strategies.
